Description: Once upon a time, Morgan Cooper was a journalist chasing the next big story in the big city—until a story nearly got them killed.
In a desperate bid to save their life, they made a deal with a dangerous fae and fled to the safety of their hometown, Twin Coves, a small seaside village and the perfect spot to lay low and lick their wounds. However, death has followed them home. Seven months after their return, their friend and mentor, Gideon Clearwater, is found dead. Officially, it is ruled to be “natural causes”, but not everyone in town is so easily convinced. When another death is discovered—one that bears an unsettling similarity to the murders Morgan was investigating back in the city—they begin to question how safe Twin Coves really is.
